The Japanese edition of GQ, published monthly by Condé Nast Japan since April 2003. The title carries the international GQ editorial framework but locates it firmly inside Japan: the cover talent, the watches and fashion coverage, the cultural reporting and the business and lifestyle features are all selected for a domestic audience and translated outward, not the other way round.

That orientation is what makes the title worth keeping for international readers — it sits a useful distance from the European and American GQ editions, and reflects how menswear, design and culture are actually consumed in one of the most considered men's-fashion markets in the world.
